For Group Edition
When a school enables messaging for parents, all parents will start receiving messages to log into their account and change their password.
- An email will be sent if the contact has an email address
- An SMS will be sent if the contact does not have an email address but has a mobile phone number.
How often are messages sent?
• When messaging is enabled, an Email/SMS will be sent once to the contact.
Then, once a day we check each unverified contact and send another message if:
• the last sent message was more than 7 days ago AND total number of account verification messages sent is less than 10
The process will reset if the parent changes their email or mobile number
