How Payment Processing Works
To help you understand the fee structure, it's helpful to know how the process works:
- Your district owns and manages its own Stripe account. This is where your payments are securely deposited.
- Our platform acts as a secure bridge. When a parent pays a form fee, we pass the payment request directly to your Stripe account.
- Stripe, as the payment processor, handles secure transactions, including credit card authorization and fraud protection. For this service, they charge a transaction fee.
Who Pays the Fees?
- Since the payment is going directly into your district's Stripe account, Stripe deducts their standard processing fee before depositing the net amount. Forms & Flows does not receive any portion of this fee.
- Our service is simply to enable a seamless and secure connection between your forms and your payment processor.
