Sometimes you may need to update an answer you’ve already submitted on an eForm or Permission Request. As long as the form is still open, you can easily make changes.
When Can You Change a Response?
You can edit your response only if the form is still open. You will not be able to make changes if:
- The response date has passed
- The event date has passed
- The administrator has already processed your response
- The eForm has been archived
Two Ways to Change Your Response
Option 1: Navigate to the Completed Forms section
- Log in to your Forms & Flows account.
Click the Completed Form tab.
Locate the eForm you wish to edit, and click View Form.
You’ll see your previous response, and scroll to the bottom of the form and click the Change Response button.
Once you’ve finished updating your response, scroll to the bottom of the form and click Submit Response.
Option 2: Navigate to the My Students section
- Click on the My Students tab.
Locate your student/child, and click on View Forms.
You’ll be taken to a page that lists all the eForms linked to the student/child. Find the eForm you like to edit, and click on the View button.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 from Option 1 to edit your response and submit it again.
💡 Note:
If you're currently unable to answer all the items, you can save your progress as a draft by clicking the Save for later button. When you're ready to finish it, you can simply go back to the eForm and click Submit.
- You can only change your response while the eForm is still open and accepting submissions. Once the due date has passed, edits are no longer possible.
- If you need to update your response after the due date, please reach out to the organization that sent you the eForm. They may be able to update your response on their end or extend the form’s due date so you can make the changes yourself.
