We know how helpful it would be to have form responses, like those from an Annual Student Information Reverification, flow directly back into your PowerSchool SIS.
Forms & Flows does not have a built-in feature to write data directly back to PowerSchool or any Student Information System (SIS).
What Is Possible?
Districts with technical resources can sometimes create their own integration using the Forms & Flows API.
Here’s how that works:
- Your IT team would use our API to extract data from form submissions.
- They would then build a custom script or connector to write that data into PowerSchool, using PowerSchool’s own API.
Whether this works depends on two key factors:
- PowerSchool’s API: Does it allow external tools to update records?
- Your District’s Resources: Does your IT team have the skills and time to build and maintain this custom integration?
Important Note: While we provide the API to access your form data, our support team cannot build or troubleshoot custom SIS integrations. We aren’t experts in PowerSchool’s specific technical requirements.
If you pursue this route, your district’s IT team would lead the project, and we’re happy to provide basic documentation and guidance around data extraction from Forms & Flows.
