Administrators can add a "sub-group" under a group. Adding a sub-group allows the organisation to easily locate the profiles that are already part of a group.
To add a sub-group, please follow these steps.
1. Log in to your Operoo account. Access the Student section for student-related groups and the Staff section for staff-related groups.
2. then go to the "Groups" section and click Add.
3. Fill out the "Group Name", and choose the timezone. For the "Parent" field, click the drop-down menu and select the name of the existing group where the sub-group will be added. In this example, let's add a "Science Club" sub-group under Grade 12. Then, click Save and Next.
4. The Members tab determines how you will add profiles to the created group. Click Save and Next once done, then Done if triggers are not necessary for this group.
Static Members – Used to manually add individual profiles.
Dynamic Members – Used to automatically add profiles from a specific group or class.
