- If Operoo enables the setting on your behalf, on the next successful sync applicants will sync into Operoo (providing Wonde has been contacted, see the section below). If 'Messaging for Parent eForms' is enabled, parents will be emailed a New Account Creation email (unless SSO is setup) providing them with their login credentials. On top of this, parents will also be sent an email asking for the Student Record to be verified (if any section on the Student Record is set to View and Edit).
- Pre-admission students will sync into Operoo as part of the schools' top/high level all students Group. Once a successful syncs has taken place, if preferred schools can have two new Groups 'All Enrolled Students' and 'All Pre-Enrolled Students' which will be created as part of the sync. These Groups are controlled by the sync, and cannot be edited in Operoo. If these Groups are not created, schools can create a Dynamic Members Group in Operoo as all your pre-admission students will have a smart tag of 'Pre-Enrolled'. Please click here to see how to do this (navigate to the section 'Group filter using a Smart Group filter').
- Because of point 2 above, Administrators will need to take into consideration any eForms that are associated with their high level/top Group as once the sync takes place, parents of pre-admission students will have access to those eForms. If you only want enrolled parents to have access to these eForms (if there are any), an Administrator will need to adjust the member association.

If point 3 above is required, it's recommended that Administrators disable 'Messaging for Parent eForms' before the sync takes place, then following the sync, make the necessary member changes to an eForm before enabling messaging again. This will ensure pre-admission parents will not be sent an email asking them to complete an eForm that may not be intended for them.

If schools would like to have the two new Groups 'All Enrolled Students' and 'All Pre-Enrolled Students', this feature must be enabled by your Operoo CSM or the Operoo Support Team.
Below is an example of what the Group structure would look like if the 'All Enrolled Students' and 'All Pre-Enrolled Students' setting is enabled.
If schools do not want to have the two new Groups, schools can create a Dynamic Group to group all Pre-admission students. Please click here and navigate to the 'Group filter using a Smart Group filter' section to see how to create this Dynamic Group.
Wonde information
There are certain requirements, and/or specific information provided by Wonde for each MIS/SIS. If you have any questions on these, please contact Wonde directly.
Australian SIS
Synergetic:
Within the Synergetic database, students may be designated with an application status of one of: ENQ, FUT or FIN. This single status code is matched within the Operoo configuration and the resultant PRE-ENROLMENT is transferred from Synergetic via Wonde into Operoo. ALL PRE-ENROLMENTS with the designated status (not just the current year) will be transferred across.
Operoo and Wonde do not have a filter on PRE-ENROLMENTS Year Starting, consequently ALL PRE-ENROLMENTS regardless of the Year are transferred across.
Note: We suggest that in Synergetic the Status type is used to denote the actual PRE-ENROLMENT status to transfer to Operoo.
Arbor:
Students must have an application with a status of 'Enrolled' - Not 'Offer Made' or 'Offer Accepted'. Confirmed future enrolment in the school is needed for the API filters Wonde are using to include the students. For future students who don't have an application on record, they must have a future enrolment into the school set up on their profile. The most common scenario Wonde encounter is schools having their applications all set to 'Offer Accepted' - meaning the API query won't pick them up.
Bromcom:
Our user requires PreAdmissionGroups, PreAdmissionStudents - if these two permissions are not on our account, then we won't be able to obtain pre-admission students.
Cloud School:
This should be calculated automatically upon the school granting our access and having permissions allocated to our account for student data, the roll (enrolment) status should reflect the differences between a pre-admission and current student.
Engage:
This should be encompassed within the SQL user account that is created between the school and Engage Support, Wonde have no involvement with that process so providing the school are adding the student appropriately in Engage, they will expect to pull them through.
Integris:
This should be calculated automatically upon the school granting Wonde access and having permissions allocated to our account for student data, the roll (enrolment) status should reflect the differences between a pre-admission and current student.
iSAMS:
Historically it was only possible with iSAMS for Wonde to extract pre-admission students if their status read as 'accepted and paid', 'accepted' and/or '4.accepted', however now Wonde can accommodate any variation of status that has been added by the school. Providing Wonde is made aware of which values (e.g. place accepted) are being used by school, the data can sync.
Pupil Asset:
This should be calculated automatically upon the school granting Wonde access and having permissions allocated to Wonde's account for student data, the roll (enrolment) status should reflect the differences between a pre-admission and current student.
ScholarPack REST:
This should be calculated automatically upon the school granting Wonde access and having permissions allocated to Wonde's account for student data by updating the ScholarPack token in their Wonde account, the roll (enrolment) status should reflect the differences between a pre-admission and current student.
SIMS:
This should be calculated automatically upon the school granting Wonde access and having permissions allocated to Wonde's account for student data, the roll (enrolment) status should reflect the differences between a pre-admission and current student when the respective reports are run in SIMS.
WCBS/WCBS Hub:
This should be calculated automatically upon the school granting Wonde access and having permissions allocated to Wonde's account for student data, the roll (enrolment) status should reflect the differences between a pre-admission and current student.

Operoo and Wonde do not have a filter on Pre-admissions School Year Starting, consequently ALL pre-admission data regardless of the School Year are synced from Wonde to Operoo. Please ensure the Pre-admission data in your MIS/SIS is accurate so historical student data does not sync to Operoo.

Wonde offers a 1-way sync only and data will sync only from Wonde to Operoo.

*Please note: Operoo will no longer support new versions of SIMS after July 31, 2023. Specifically, this will end support for the integration between Operoo and SIMS. If you are using the 2-way SyncMonkey integration, please contact the Support Team who will help and guide you through migrating your integration from SyncMonkey to Wonde.
