Now when creating a form with single text line responses, you can specify what kind of input you’d like to receive: any text, a time, a number, or an email address.
To continue accepting any text answer continue to select “Single text line question”
However, if you decide you’d like to specify the format of the response, you can use the new dropdown menu to select what type of response to accept:
Any text
Time
A number
An email address
You can also use the new question types if you already know what kind of response you need.
If you choose a time selection:
When responding, the user will have a dropdown list of times to choose from, at 10 minute interval.
You can also choose a number format. This will accept integers (positive and negative numbers) as well as decimals.
Users are not able to type in any letters or special characters
The final new type of answers is an email address.
We expect it in the format sampleemail@domain.com. If it is missing the @domain.com, the user input will not be accepted and the user won’t be able to complete the form.
They must correct it to be in an expected email format:
